Door blind/shade. Do you have one?

We have a 2010 Sightseer 33C.

Original owners said nothing was installed over the door window when they purchased. After finding the part number, local dealer says we can't order whatever should cover the door window...it's discontinued.

The valance is installed over the door and there is some hardware installed under it.

If you have one, is it a pleated shade similar to the rest of the windows or is it just a roller type blind?

Well,
Without knowing some particulars here, dimensions, depth, etc., it would be hard to say what will work and what won't. But, I'd take a look at what kind of total clearance you have inside the valance and, then I'd cruise on over to "Blinds Chalet" and see what they have to offer. And, you could always check out MCD RV shades too. They're a bit on the pricey side but, many on here are happy with their products. We're about to order up about a thousand dollars worth of RV day/night roller shades from Blinds Chalet. I just have to confirm some sizes.

But, I think, based on available space, you should be able to set up any of the RV roller shades in that area.

Ours is simply a roller type shade that pulls down and clips into position to keep it down for the night, works great.

We have the same unit just a different name. Ours is just a white, vinyl, roller type shade. I did add window tint to the inside of the door window. That was to cut down on the heat gain and to provide privacy for when we wanted to see out and the shade was up.

We've got a run of the mill plastic (vinyl?) roller shade over the door. Ain't nothing to write home about - but does keep complaints from the neighbors at bay by preventing them from getting an eyeful when I'm running around the coach nekkid at night!

Just measure between the brackets and get a roller shade cut to fit at Home Depot or some similar store.
