Difference

Hi All
Is there a big deference between 2004 Winnebago adventure with Ford chase y
and a Workhorse, same mileage and price, witch would be best for an older couple
Thanks
AL

It all boils down to find the floor plan you like. You can have the best MH but if the
floor lay out is not to your liking it will bug you for ever.
As far as which unit is the best deal it depends on what each offers, good records of
service work, manuals for everything, age of batteries, age or tires, and over all
indications that the unit has been taken care of and not just driven.
As to make of chassis that is a hard call as I have had one make be very good and
down the road have the same make and it was a PITA.

I'd pick the one you like.

Take the Ford for less trouble and parts and service availability

I would prefer the Ford just because I'm a Ford guy, but if you do a lot of driving the Workhorse will ride smoother.

Pick the one ya'll like the best.

Both are good chassis. I'll echo the previous responses and say the coach whose floorplan and amenities best suits your needs and preferences is the one to choose. Chassis, really, is a secondary consideration to finding a coach you can live in.

That said, assuming similar service records, mileage, and condition, either chassis is good. There are many (many) people here with both Workhorse and Ford based MHs. Either will do a fine job or propelling your MH down the road, and either can be serviced by any competent RV shop.

I would consider the Workhorse chassis for the Allison transmission.
