Curious what window caulking you guys like to do?

I have a 08 outlook 31c. Ive been doing caulking around the body with proflex rv...
What do you guys do for the windows? Ive seen people online sealing them with caulk but mine has a black like butyl tape on the window frame that is pushed out slightly. Would you cut that all back and then caulk it? Or would you check it for gaps and if there is none, leave it as factory made it?
Thanks for any input, this is my first go around in a rv in life and learning along the way...

Unless you have a reason to believe your windows are leaking and need new caulking I'm not sure why you are worried about this. WBGO's are leak prone around the roof edges and front/rear cap connections - but I've not seem much about window leaks.
