Where is the cheapest place to get cord for day/night shades. We need to re-sring a large shade, about 72" by 30". How long would the cord need to be. It has 4 rows of cord.

This issue had been posted many times:
If you go to Find at the top of the page and enter Day Night Shades (all forums) you'll get a lot of information

I got it at a JoAnns Fabric store.
I used the old cord to figure out how much to buy, but as I recall one package was enough for one shade with some left over.

Just to add some information to this very tiresome subject I recently repaired, for the second time, one of my day/night shades. Even cleaning up the rough holes last time did not fix the problem. This time I took out the plastic grommets that were put in backwards and reinstalled them the correct way. They are just a press-to-fit type and come out quite easily.

If you contact the Parts department at Winnebago in Forest City they can sell you the replacement cording. They will ask you the size of your blind and they then use a chart to tell them what is needed.

Dacron trolling line comes in three weights and will cost less than .10 a yard at Sportsman's Wearhouse.

We like the 50 or 80 lb. test

Do the search as suggested above and you will get a wealth of information.
