I have the test strips and plan to check my coolant tomorrow. The instructions say you are not supposed to check coolant from the surge tank. Does anyone know if there is a petcock on the radiator or elsewhere for performing this check?

If you go underneath the coach by the engine in line with one of the hoses (mine is on the drivers side) is a petcock you can open to drain some coolant for testing. It's not bad to get to.

Don't worry about testing the colant in the surge tank, that is the way it is done at the service centers. Just use a forceps or something similar to hold the strip so it easily immersed. Most importantly check the expiration date on the test strip before you use it.

I should not check the coolant at the surge tank since I just added a gallon of anti-freeze. I need to check it elsewhere.

I found the radiator petcock on the aft end of the radiator. After the test I found I need additional SCAs. I may go for a drain and flush since my coolant is 4 years old.

Where do folks go for drain and flush and what do they have to pay?
