Exclamation Check your tires lug nuts regularly

I just removed and reinstalled my front tires on my Intent to make it easier to install SumoSprings. Only owning the coach for a month, I had not checked the lug nuts yet.

One side was tightened properly, but on the other side, 9/10 were finger tight!

They are now torqued down to the spec in the chassis manual, and I will be adding checking them to my regular maintenance list as well.

Some vehicles are worse in that regard. I have an 89 Ranger that needs to be checked regularly. Other vehicles are fine between rotations. No idea why the difference.

Also though, sometimes the nuts are not properly torqued from the tire store or even the factory! My suspension guy recommends rechecking after 500 miles even though he trusts his own work!
