Two struts on one of our basement doors failed at the same time. Oil leaking out of both struts from the electrical access door and now I have to hold the door open manually, i.e. my head or a piece of wood. They are fairly easy to replace, but looking for information on where to buy. Thanks for any suggestions.

Take them to Advance Auto Parts or AutoZone...they can usually match them.

Or, you can get them from Mobility RV (winnebagoparts.com).

I replaced some on my old Adventurer. I found the manufacturer's name on the shock, located them on the internet, and I think they had the best price at the time.

I agree with ALL the replies !!

If you can't cross reference them at a local auto parts place, Mobility RV or Lichtsinn will likely have the best price you will find, even after shipping cost is included.

Just bought eight for my rig. Try here - they are the ones that Winnebago uses. About half the price of other locations - SPD
I used the GSNI 5000-80WINN (GSNI-5000-80) on my big doors. Had GSNI-5000-60WINN originally. Last number is the number of lbs that it supports.
I have purchased some from MarksRV also - but he did not have the 80 lb units.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I ordered from SPD. Mickey, my numbers were SPD-GSNI-2300-90 at $16.85 ea. I also ordered a couple spares for the other doors which are SPD-GSNI-2300-100. They are starting to get a little weak.
