Black foam and battery solenoid removal
Is there a good way to soften and remove the Winnebago black foam sealant without damaging paint and plastics? I spent about three hours removing foam from the electrical box that holds the Battery Module Solenoid. Winnebago had filled the box a third full of foam, and it all had to be removed. I discovered that carburetor cleaner with a spray tube would soften the foam enough to remove it. This is not good for wire insulation and paint. Anything better available?
Also, what is suggested for resealing the wire grommets that can be easily removed in the future?
