Triple E advertises that they build a well-insulated all weather rig. Just seems there are few of those around....have only seen one in our travels. The owner said they loved it and it did keep them cool/warm in extreme temps.

Last winter I cut 3/16" smoke tinted plexiglass (perfect match for the window tint) to fit the inside of my screen door. I cut the plexiglass on a table saw with the blade turned backwards. My FL CG has a wood shop.

My thought was we could leave the door open when running the AC. But, I was surprised that the coach stayed warmer in cold weather with the outside door closed. The coach is even quieter.

I purchased the plexiglass from a company in FL that makes screened FL rooms. They had a rack of odds and ends. Cost was ~$20. I used a very small black screw placed at an angle, one on each side to hold the plexiglass in place.

I recommend this installation.

I can post photos if needed.

I had the same panels for my old Vectra. We found them under the bed. I thought they were just some plexiglass left by the previous owner. A few months later a light bulb went off that they were for the screen door. I installed them and like them but the Vectra only had single pane windows so they weren't as effective. Although we could leave the door open with the AC on.

I had a problem with mine and it was a vent that was blowning the cool air toward the thermastat. My a/c like everybodies else vibrirate so bad. What i did was I put 3/4" anti vibration rubber under mine. I took two jacks and placed them under the a/c to hole it in place and lower the frame down installed the rubber and put 3/4" spacer on the bolt and tighten them up.You can not feel it running.

I have a friend that owns a mh who has roof top ac's. we camp togeather all the time. His 1 rooftop ac will freeze you out. I think our winn's are built fine but the basement ac is undersized imo. Jack, what is outside temp when you are getting 49 at the supply? You are a lucky man.
