I had the same problem and had to take it to Winnebago along with about 10 other owners...it was a combination of bad touch pad entry, bad main module and faulty wiring...Still can't figure out why Winnebago do not have that on the check list before it leaves the factory...even my dealer told me every one that comes in is not working

I,m sure this is too simple, but mine just needed a new battery. We have a Vectra 40AD, but our previous coach (2002 Chieftan) hardly ever worked. Had to go to Radio Shack to get the type of battery I needed, but no problem since.

There are three brass contact points for the door lock. When mine stop working I just clean the contact points.

Gary,

Where are the contacts located? I would guess behind the door handle and latches.

James: My brass contact points are near the door hinges on the door frame...they match up to the contacts on the door; when the door is closed they should touch.
