26RBSS Travel Trailer Tarp or Cover?

I'm currently shopping around for a good Semi-waterproof cover for my travel trailer. I have a 26RBSS Travel Trailer from Winnebago. There are so many on the market...I realize none are actually waterproof but I think it's a good idea to cover the trailer during the heavy rains here in my area (Seattle) during Fall and Winter. Do any of my colleagues out there have any recommendations, words of caution, or pearls of wisdom to share? I've been looking at the full body travel trailer covers and also just the roof tarps.

I would really appreciate any advice. Also, if I do go with the full body covers I would need one that has access to the rear door (my configuration has the entry door in the rear of the coach).

Thanks folks and happy camping!

Hi John,
Being in South Bend, we get so much rain it makes Seattle look arid. I use discrete waterproof wheel covers, then a full body semi-waterproof cover, then the lightest-weight waterproof tarp over that, but just enough to cover the roof area. For my Minnie Winnie 22M, I use a 12'x30' 7 mil tarp, anchored down with Rhino bungee cords and adjusted to length with lightweight rope. The goal is to cover the roof area, and the sloping nose of the vehicle, thereby shedding the bulk of the water away. Your main cover lasts longer, and the lightweight tarp can more easily be lofted over your RV and is far less expensive to replace.
