2013 Itasca Meridian

Recently purchased a 2013 Itasca Meridian. Can someone help me out with what the black box is below the radio on dash. When looking inside of it it appears it is a power source or charging source. Thank you

It is exactly that. It is the old 30 pin connector. Put you iPod in and control it through the entertainment system
