2011 Tour 42 QD Stop Engine Light

I have a 2011 Winnebago Tour 42 QD, the red stop engine light has come on and the coach will not start. It has been sitting for a little over a year. I have checked all the fluids and they are fine. I just don't want to have it towed to a mechanic if it can be avoided. So any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Call the Freightliner Help Line 1-800-FTL-HELP. Have your VIN # and engine type / size available. These folks have been very helpful. Can also consider the Cummins help line - Freightliner folks can share that with you.
Let us know what results - we all learn...

Information bar

There would have to be a fault code to trigger that. From your freightliner operators manual you can find the sequence to find the codes on your information bar.

Toggling through the information bar you can get to diagnostics and see what code, or codes you have active.

There will be an SPN number and a FMI number and then OC number. The OC is not important that is simply the number of occurrences that the fault has been activated.

Once you have the SPN and FMI you can call freightliner and they will tell you what is going on. Have the last 6 digits of your VIN handy when you call.
