2001 Journey Freightliner Chassis Limp mode (no engline light)

Limp mode,(stuck in 3rd)(no engine light) no codes for trans. Was put on a computer original code was for 4921497 intake sensor. (computer couldn't talk to TCM) Sorry relaying info from the boys on the side of the road, so trying to get this right. Replaced that sensor(manifold intake), and sensors on trans(speed sensor and turbine sensor) (speedometer doesn't work) Also trying to find a (transmission)relay center (with a ton of searching forums) has been to no avail. Found the one over the engine, and one in front of dash exterior...but can't locate the one that is 'suppose' to be to rear drivers side behind a vent? Pulled out TCM both connectors pins don't look corroded(both red/gray connectors) Is there a TCM fuse or relay? or just a boogey man under the hood? LOL...

Hi Jorie,
This one is stumping me.
Do you have that horse with you? Looks like you might need him.
Good luck; Eagle5

That gave me a good chuckle!!! No horse, probably better that way haha. It has the boys stumped also. Stopping for ohm/electrical tester? I believe is what they said. But still no luck finding a possible relay for Trans.

Ok, so we have this fuse box that they had found, and searched everywhere(ours didn't have the diagram) and posting it here in case it helps anyone else. I'm not sure if its what THEY were looking for. But, it sure was a pain for me to find it.

Hi again Jorie,
These are great photos of your Winnebago Electrical Panel, but I don't believe anything located therein would have much bearing on the engine & transmission problems.
Within the Freightliner page:
https://www.freightlinerchassis.com/
I found this support page:
https://www.my247direct.com/login
Maybe something there could help?
Finally, you should be able to find a service center with this page:
https://www.fcccrv.com/owners/nationwide-service-centers/
Thanks, Eagle5

There are two sides to your RV. The Chassis is (almost) all Freightlinner and your “house” is all Winnebago. Widen your search for info and mechanical help to Allison and Freightliner. For your issue Winnebago is of almost zero help.

Try the Freightliner chassis RV forum on www.irv2.com:

https://www.irv2.com/forums/f26/

Best of luck.

It's always so late when I receive these post, that most likely you are rolling already. We used to have a 1996 Winnebago Adventurer. We started her up just fine. But, she would not shift out of 3rd. I'm not very smart. But after driving a few miles slowly the transmission started shifting properly. the battery was just weak enough that the transmission did not have enough power to shift. Driving the few miles recharged the battery and all was well.

An FYI; When my Cummins ISC failed to start, I had 3 different road service guys attempt to read ECM and TCM codes to no avail.
After being towed to Cummins Great Plains In Moline, ILL., they also could not retrieve and codes. Turned out the software was so old and obsolete their computers did not recognize the software. Finally one of the guys there remembered a old obsolete computer in their storeroom. They removed my ECM and TCM, took them to the shop and read the codes with that old computer. Then they wiiped my ECM and TCM clean and installed the latest software that was compatible.
Oh, during that process they determined the 6-pin Duetch plug under the dash had never been wired correctly, so could only use the one on the engine..
