1999 Adventurer Roof sealing - painting?

1999 Adventurer - bought a year ago. I don't have any leaks (that I see)... but wanting to do preventative (obviously) I jumped on the roof.

I'm guessing I should re-seal this skylight? As the sealant looks like it's cracking?

What about painting the roof?

I noticed I have a solar panel - that clearly does not work! Maybe I'll look into replacing it...

Go to YouTube and subscribe to the AZ Expert YouTube channel.

James does dozens of roof inspections and tells how to look for issues and how to fix them.

He's also not a fan of those spray on "sealers."

Not a roof inspection but this is Jame's video on cleaning a very dirty rubber roof. Now, newer Winnebago Adventurers have a FRP "Filon" roof and not a rubber roof. So this may not apply to your 24 year old Adventurer but it should introduce you to AZ Expert.

He has videos on replacing and resealing skylights, resealing vents and fans, etc. Most importantly how to keep your Roof from flying away when you're driving down the road.
