03 Adventurer 38g jacks

The hydraulic jacks today decided to stop worling. HWH 305 or 325 system, not sure which. The red light comes on and the pump does not run. The two slides work correctly. Open to suggestions. On the way to Daytona.

There are 2 solenoids on the pump. 1 for when the jacks are operating, and one for the slideouts. You have 1 bad solenoid. Easy way to confirm this is to hold the retract switch for one of the slides while pushing the jack down button, If the jacks extend, go buy a solenoid and replace the bad one.

download a service manual for your system at hwh.com. there is a diagnostic procedure for this problem. as previous poster said, its most likely the pump solenoid for the jacks.

Forest, Great idea to use the slide switch to activate the pump and then the jack switch to lower the jacks. Wish I'd thought of that when I had a problem.
I had a problem with corrosion on the connections on my jack relay. Metric nuts.

When I had my 2003 Adventurer 35U found the problem to be a blown fuse in the HWH wiring harness, check this out and I found the HWH tech line was great help and very patient as they walked me thru situations

Final resolution to problem

The solenoid was the problem, Thanks to all.
The factory SAZ-4201ER was defective. The unit is rated at 200A continuous duty. My local parts store has nothing similar to mine. In order to buy another I had problems locating anyone that I consider reasonable. Therefore, BWD Select S5049 had the correct specs but the wrong mounting. Removing the rivets on the original and mig welding the mounting bracket to the new unit solved that problem. A ground wire was run from the base of the new unit to the frame ground to resolve the internal wiring difference. Works great. Thanks again!

I'm glad too hear you back in operation, you should stock a spare relay for the slides.
