what about this hitch height?

I have a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado with 16" hitch height. I want to get the right hitch for my Winnebago Micro Minnie 1800BH. I also feel the sway when driving due I think to the height of the trailer. What are people doing to control both of these issues?

Thanks

hitching Winnie to Chevy Silverado

No, that is what I am asking for. What kind of recommendations for the hitch/sway/weight distribution to get for this height.

Webcola, We have a Husky Centerline TS WDH, you can go on line and read the installation manual. Here is a link to the manual. https://assets.rigidhitch.com/hitch_...ions/32215.pdf

I have a Andersen WDH for my 2100BH on my 2019 GMC Canyon. I like it. It works and is lighter than all other WDH and easy to install.

Your TT is relatively small, so pretty much any name brand weight distributing hitch with anti-sway control will work as long as it's properly sized in terms of tongue weight, etc. I towed two Nash TTs with a 1/2 ton Nissan Titan, a 22' and a 25' with a pretty standard, EAZ Lift, Elite, "round bar" hitch and friction anti-sway mechanism for years without any issues:

Just remember that the tongue weight in your trailer's specs might not be the actual weight with full LPG tanks, etc, so be careful about not going too light:

Etrailer has a lot of good information on how to select a hitch:

Note that some are listed as not allowing backing up, which, in my opinion is an inconvenience I'd avoid.

I use an Andersen 4-point WDH. Biggest advantage to me is that i don't have to disconnect anything before backing up. Also, most if not all WDHs have adjustable shanks which allow you to have the trailer level with your truck.
