Ray, my first system was the TST one. I had the pass through sensors. The design they had then was nothing short of a PITA. I, too frequently, couldn't get air into the tires. This alone caused me to go to the EEZ brand. Battery changing in the TST sensors was also very difficult and the o-ring would often not seat correctly. I have not had these problem with the EEZ.
The EEZ system has been reliable for many years now. My only complaint is with the monitor. In the bright day light it can be hard to see. I don't know f this is true with the new color monitor.

re: hard to see. TST said to place a small piece of black tape over the day/night sensor to keep the back-light always on, I did and it works great to see the display in bright light.

Ray, I will have to try that, but I thought the monitor got brighter when the sensor saw light. Would think blocking the sensor would make it think it was dark outside and dim the display. Regardless I will give it a go.

Good tip, Ray. I just put a small piece of electrical tape on the sensor and it works like a champ. But I think it is still going to be a problem when driving. I have no good place to put it that is not bathed in bright light. And the view angle is hard to adjust. Your suggestion will help I'm certain.
