Sidewall Issue

i have 500 miles on new 2108Ds with Trail Guide all Terrain 235/75R15 tires that came new with new trailer. After trip of 200 miles we noticed the sidewalls were faded for lack of better description(see image). Any ideas on what this is or caused it? It is on all 4 tires, pressure is good, we did not rub up against anything, RV Dealer, Winnebago help line had never seen this and has no idea. One tire shop said tires are failing and not right tire for trailer another said opposite, have not heard back from tire manufacture. Not sure what to do any ideas?

I hadn't seen those tires installed on a Micro Minnie since ~ August of 2020. Interesting that they came on a new 2108ds.

In any case, that is very odd.

Those tires were an unusual choice (not ST tires) but Winnebago used them previously for a couple of years. I haven't heard anything bad about them. Maybe the tire dealer was objecting to the fact that they aren't ST tires.

This isn't something I've seen before, but I'm sure someone else will have some ideas for you. It is likely helpful to know that these tires are approaching 2 years old.

Looks like tire treatment that someone put on

Looks
Like tires that have had protectant on them. Like armor all. See if it comes off with a Brillo pad.

You didn't identify if they are P235/75R15 or ST235/75R15 or LT23575R15. Properly identifying the tires is important.
Next they are "raised white letter" which makes me suspect they are not ST type. What does your Certification Label show?

The white "fading" appears to be a leaching of the chemicals that allow some rubber to be white.

Wondering if other Winnie trailers come with white letter tires. WIth more info I may be able to offer more info.

I also suspect it is the leaching of the chemicals in the rubber that occurs naturally to help prevent sidewall cracking. Unless scrubbed with a brush or treated with a tire cleaner new black tires quickly turn brown. Clean them.

My guess is that the RV dealer had a tire shine product on them. I have seen tires treated the way look like yours. I would take them to a tire dealer/distributor for the brand of tires you have and have them checked out and it they determine they are bad it should be covered by the tire manufacturer.
