Rollover sensors while dolly towing

We just got a 2022 Hyundai Kona FWD to dolly tow behind our Intent 26m. In the owners manual of the Kona it talks about leaving the car in accessory while towing to avoid the rollover sensors setting off the airbags thinking the car is going to rollover while towing. Leaving the car in accessory would not do the battery any good and taking off the negative side of the battery might delete all the presets - and there are a lot of presets in this car.
So...for those who dolly tow, does your car have the same issue with rollover sensors and is this a real issue or much ado about nothing?
Thanks for your thoughts,
Tom

My KIA does not have what you are referring to, but had tow dollied may thousands of miles. That however does not matter.

I would really call the MFG customer line and ask the pros! not the dealer.

Is it something to worry about maybe, but then again maybe not. But I would sure hate to stop and see my airbags inflated.

Good Luck

Why don't you install a circuit to from your MH to keep your toad's battery charged? Hopefully your 7-pin receptacle on your MH has 12V DC power at pin 4. It's easy to check with a multimeter and, ideally, should only be hot when your motor is running. If not, it's a relatively easy DIY project:

Although some just wire direct to the Toad battery, this can be problematical, especially without fuse and diode protection. There are a number of options available that protect your battery and manage the connection. Rather than recommend any specific one, here are some options and links to relevant RV forum postings:

So turns out if you leave the ignition off the rollover sensors will not be active and all will be good for dolly towing. The manual just confused me but the dealer has cleared up the issue.
Thanks for your inputs,
Tom
