New Ford Maverick Hybrid as a toad.

Good news, the new Ford Maverick pickup, at least the hybrid version, will be towable 4-down. See in Ford Towing Guide here, page 2:

From “Automobile” magazine website:

“CURB WEIGHT 3,550-3,750 lb (mfr)”

That's pretty nice. I was expecting the Turbo Four optional engine would be the flat towable one... not the CVT equipped Hybrid.

I think it will be a popular Toad... and a popular truck or trucklet. It will be a devastating blow for Honda Ridgeline sales, I'd expect.

Funny the Ford Maverick wasn't a great car back in the day but it's been so many years now that the name Maverick sounds fresh on this truck. What's next a Pinto mini-truck?

First question for the "old timers" looking at it... "Where is the fuel tank?"
