Micro Minnie 1700 BH Hitch Height Specs and Question?

Hello, New to the forum and looking for some answers. I have a Audi Q7 2021 (7700 Tow capacity and 700 pound hitch weight limit) and getting the delivery of 2022 Winnebago 1700 BH this month.
Audi being a UniBody does not allows a WDH so I have a sway mount welded to my ball mount. While a prepare for delivery, I am looking for specs on the coupler height so that I can get the appropriate ball mount.

Anyone towing Winnebago with an Audi?

Someone may chime in with that hitch height soon, so hang on.

As for Audi specific towing info I'd suggest visiting some Audi Q forums.

Here's a couple of links that look promising:

I just got an email directly from Winnebago in regards to the trailer being level.

- 28" to the top of the coupler from the ground for the Micro Minnies.-

Not sure if that means you should look for a hitch where the top of the ball will be around 29" (for the squat). Hope this helps.

That seems a little high. I think it's more like 22-24".

Regardless, when I picked up my 1800BH, there was some other guy there picking up his MM, with a Kia Telluride. He found that he needed such a high hitch riser, that he couldn't open his tailgate anymore. Ooops.

I just started to select an Andersen weight-distribution hitch to connect a micro Minnie 1208ds to a 2017 VW Touareg but the problem is a total mismatch in ball height and trailer coupler height. Andersen has an 8" riser that might prevent the tail gate from opening. I am not too happy with the distance of the ball above the centerline of the receiver. Andersen hitch is preferred as it keeps a short distance between the hitch ball and the rear axle of the Touareg. Can the MM 1208 be lowered, as it is very high off the ground? Has anyone had success with this combination? The Touareg is the sister car to the Audi Q5.

I contacted Winnebago to find out the coupler height for my 2100BH and was told it was 23 inches. This is very close to what I measured on my 2100BH and other Micro Minnies parked on my dealers lot.
