We are looking for a new trailer to tow after our Adventurer 33V. The challenge is to find a trailer with proper tongue height. The “leg” of our current trailer tends to hit the ground, when we’re passing the driveway dips into gas stations etc.
When coupled to the RV the trailer is level, so a hitch with less drop will “lift” the trailer to an uneven stand.
Any ideas for trailer brands that won’t break my heart every time I hear that unpleasant scratching noise?
Another option is to replace the jack you have with a pivoting jack, common on boat trailers, which will give you more clearance. That said, jack "feet" are cheap.... scrape on and replace periodically....!!!!
