I own 2016 Navion 24J with Fox shocks on the rear. No sways, handles pretty good. However, anytime I hit a larger seam on interstate or larger imperfection on the road, I get loud thump. Is that normal with Fox shocks? I never had a chance to drive one with OEM, thus got to ask.
Hi Thomas,
No, that is not normal. Something is either broken or worn. There are many components in the same area as the shock absorber, so I would get under the vehicle and see if something is loose.

Sounds like something loose and one of the things that might sound like you describe is when the upper end of the shock has come loose and rather than slowly/ gently reducing the shock, the loose end just bangs on the bottom of the RV!
Needs a good look to confirm that guess!

I currently DO NOT have one!
Could be a worn rubber bushing somewhere. It could be difficult to see and require some tugging and shaking. If the vehicle is jacked up, it could be hard against one end and therefore be ridged.
