I just took our 2108DS out for this past week for the first time (just got back today) with a new Andersen WDH. I thought it worked real well considering I was dealing with 40mph winds on the trip out!
As you probably know, these TT's have 3 different height settings and mine is at the lowest setting. My frame measures only 17 inches off the ground, and the Andersen instructions would say you need the low profile brackets. I called Andersen and we came to the conclusion it was worth it to try the original brackets first. There were two reasons for this. First the low profile brackets cost money (i.e., they are an extra -- you always get the normal brackets). Second, and more important to me, the reason you'd want the low profile brackets is to not bottom out when going over a transition like a driveway...and I decided if that happens I'd want to have the whole camper raised up a notch or two. My recollection is that one setting brings it up 1.5" and the other another 2" -- or something like that.
Below is a picture under my 2108DS of the 3-level height adjustment. Not sure I'd do this adjustment myself. I like the lower setting and plan to leave it that way. The other picture is of the rig connected to my tow vehicle. I have the 8 inch drop version.
