2012 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Ball size, Height/ Micro 2306/ Minnie 2301 questions.

Tow vehicle:

2012 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4x4 Z71, w/ z28 HD trailer package installed and 18" wheels. truck hitch top is 20.5 I think it was...

Mirco Minnie 2306bhs ball size?

Minnie 2301bhs ball size?

Also, how much of a drop hitch would I need to cover level tow. I would rather not get the 8" and call it good, as it may be to much and then end up dragging on something...

If anyone with the same truck could give me a fair answer I would appreciate it.
