Seattle Area Trip Report

Here is our trip report from the Seattle area, while we visited family near Bothell. A beautiful area!

Hi Al & Deb,
All of your photos show such great composition. Great framing of the LIghthouse, or bouncing the reflection off of your Adventurer. When I fill my Propane tank in Bothell, I go to Lake Pleasant RV Resort. Great folks there. It is fun to see all of these familiar places.
Thanks, Eagle5

Thanks, Eagle5! All photos are taken on my iPhone 12 Pro Max or my wife’s iPhone 11 Pro Max. We have an RV so our “second home” can be in different locations, but this and Anacortes are two of our favorites!

Hi Al & Deb,
I take my pictures with a Nikon D40X with an 18 to 140 mm lens. While it does have a picture-review screen, you must frame the shot with the viewfinder. I love the camera.
I just upgraded my 14-year-old phone from a Casio Gz One flip phone to a no-camera removable-battery Verizon Kyocera flip phone. I don't have texting or data service on it, and it honestly doesn't spy on me; I've tested for that. I like it!

Wow, that sounds like an amazing setup. We found that when we are out and about, we would forget to take a camera but always had our phones. With the advancement in iPhone cameras, we tend to reply on them exclusively now. As the saying goes, “the best camera is the one you have with you!”

Sounds like a wonderful time. Really fortunate you didn't go to Whidbey, it's a terrible place to visit. :-)

Haha, we have stayed several times in Anacortes, just next door to you. It’s a beautiful place!

Deception Pass State Park is very nice. I especially like Bowman Bay area (part of the Deception Pass State Park.)
