Salt Lake City in our 2022 Forza 36H
We left E.TN on Monday in our Forza heading to Northern California. Today we're in Salt Lake City, UT. The trip is going perfect. Here's a picture of the rig at Salt Lake city KOA.

Hi Snipechief,
You are putting in full days at about 380 miles per day. I do not see any road bugs on the front of your Forza; have you just washed it?
Looks like you are having a good time. Safe journeys.

If you need a place to stay in Northern California, I like McCloud RV Park:

Thanks for the info. We've stayed there before. We're taking hwy 44 over through Mt Lassen then to Redding, and finally destination is Eureka.

Winammuca NV to Willts CA via I 80 and Ca Hwy 20 West. WOW!, that was beautiful, but its a lot of work (but fun) trying to maintain the speed limit, or maybe 5-10 MPH lower than the speed limit in our Forza 36H towing a 24 Jeep Wrangler JLU (4 Door).
I'm telling you this Freightliner XCS Chassis Rocks!
We just turned over 10,000 miles on it. I like driving this rig.

So I take it the chassis gives you a relatively smooth ride? How is the side-wind stability?

Yes, it can be a very smooth ride and very quiet if your on a smooth road, but she makes a lot of noise when the surface is rough. I do have the tire psi set at 100/105.
Wind stability is pretty good. I've been across i80 a couple of times now through Wy, NE, where the winds are high and it handles it well.
Ca Hwy 20 from grass valley to Yuba city was quite the challenge. I probably won't go that way again. I normally take 299 from Redding to Eureka, but i wanted to test the waters on that portion of hwy 20 ive never been on.
I'm towing a 4 door wrangler and I find 70 mph is the ideal speed. Good fuel mileage and with the cruise set it negotiates hills pretty good. Maintains 55 mph on most grades, but there were a few grades where I was in 3rd gear doing 35-40 mph, but Zero high Temps on coolant , oil, and transmission . So I'm pretty happy with that. It also hasn't burned any oil.
I wish the actual Winnebago portion of the bus was put together better though. Yesterday a window valance and shades separated from the wall due to rough roads and vibration. There were 2 wood screws holding it up in the particle board the pulled through. I just re- attached it in a the same matter but new holes. We've had lots of problems with the coach part and the dealership is really bad. Everything they touch adds more problems. I think most of the flaws will be ironed out but it's painful to go through.
Again I can't emphasize how well the Freightliner Chasis has performed.
Will be in Eureka CA this afternoon and will be stationary for 6 weeks. Plenty of time to go over all the loose screws and whatnot.

I have had good luck with JB Weld and potting the screws back into their original holes. When I rented from Cruise America, I always brought a package of JB Weld with me and did that on the things which were coming undone. The Cruise America cabinetry was made from particle board.
As for my Minnie Winnie, I haven't had such problems, and the cabinetry has been very good.
Glad you are having a great trip.

Thanks for the tip. It all went well. We just set up camp. It was a 3000 mile trip.
