Oregon coast rv park

We'll be heading to Oregon coast next June. I'm looking for a full hookup rv park right next to the beach. My wife is limited on how far she can walk due to health reasons. Any recommendations of places you have stayed at ? Thanks for your help.

Beverly Beach is nice with a short walk to a beautiful beach.

Sea & Sand has a halibut view! Very easy walk to the beach.

When you are checking out the parks, be sure to go to Google Maps and use satellite view to see what the park looks like and what the beach access is like.

Also go to https://www.campgroundreviews.com/ for reviews from people who have stayed at the parks.

Oregon State Parks will usually have a Day-use area near the beaches. If you are towing, a short drive to that area would make most any of them accessible.

We've stayed at Beverly Beach. The A-loop is the Full Hookup loop.

Here is the State Park website. https://stateparks.oregon.gov/

You can find all their parks there. Filter your selection for RV Full Hook and then check their brochure for the map.

Wherever you stay, be sure to explore. It's a wonderful place.

Cannon Beach RV park is really nice. 2-3 blocks to the beach.

Thanks for all the spots but there's been a change of plans and we won't be making that trip. Thanks

Bannon, OR is a great place and one of our favorite places to visit. Nice town, a lighthouse, beaches, nice country to explore, etc. And if you're traveling after 11/30, crabbing season will be open. You can crab right off the town dock, rent crab traps or nets and have your crabs cleaned and cooked right at the end of the dock.

Bullard's Beach State Park has full hookups and it's a great place and where we stay. There are also two RV parks with good reviews but I've never stayed at either of them:

In general, Oregon's state parks are among the best in the nation.

Oregon

Just like BobC said, Oregon has some great state parks. My wife and I just came back from three days each at Sunset Bay and Harris Beach State Parks. Fabulous places with full hookups. About as good as you can get!

I think Tilucum State Park, right on the water and reasonable cost. Just fabulous.

I know OldFord’s plans changed, but others may be interested. We’re on a 5 yr plan to retire on the northern coast of Oregon. Got it narrowed down to between Newport and Tillamook.
We enjoy Nehalem’s wide open beach, Beverly Beach as others have mentioned, Netarts Bay, Cape Lookout, Fort Stevens all come to mind.
Can’t wait to leave California!

OldFord, if you’re still here, I’m assuming Early Ford V8 Club member? Me too😊
