Dubois, WY

Hello! Trying to get some feedback on Longhorn Ranch RV resort in Dubois, WY. We're thinking of spending several weeks there next summer. I know Grand Teton very close and UTV riding in the area. Already had a Yellowstone trip so don't need that again yet. Enough to do in Dubois to spend 3-4 weeks there? Feedback appreciated! Thanks!

Dubois is one of those places you seem you blow through on the way to the Tetons and Yellowstone. We stayed there for a week in August. Wonderful place. Beautiful setting by the river. Big cottonwood trees for lots of shade. Big treed dog park. Grassy area by river to sit in the evenings. The ONLY issue was big trees equal BIG issues with sat dish even a portable. There were a few fuzzy analog over the air. We didn't have our Jeep or UTV but did some exploring. Looks like some nice off roading. Will be back there next summer for at least a week. Be sure to ask owners/managers about the café downtown. We split a late great over the top breakfast leaving room for homemade pie.

Depends on your activity level and interests. We hike and UTV/Jeep. Think we could stay really busy for a week to ten days not counting downtime. If you fish or planning on using Dubois as a basecamp for the Tetons you certainly could extend it.

Thanks! We use our side by side all the time. Spent a month in Maine over the summer and were always busy exploring new trails. Agree that Dubois a good base camp. Really appreciate your input! Thanks!
