My 2005 Journey, like many other diesel pushers has a window screen on the main door. This screen, under certain sunlight conditions, can obscure the view of oncoming traffic. My solution to this was to remove the original material and build a removable screen using a frame kit from Amazon. I made it a 1/4 inch smaller than the opening and added 1/8 inch of weather stripping on all 4 sides to seal out bugs and give it snug fit. The weather striping keeps it in place and makes it easy to remove and replace. As an added feature I attached a handle and finger guard in the lower left corner. Best of all I have a clear view while driving.
