Awake I think.
Coffee in the cup is half gone and tepid needing to be drank and refilled. Dogs are plopped upon the couches and floor and God only knows where the cat is.
My lady is in the shower preparing for her three hour drive back down South this morning where a continuing State Annual Survey awaits her.
Me…, headed West this morning with funds in hand to tend to Motorhome purchase etc. so the elderly couple can head down to Texas with their children for retirement.
Kinda made me chuckle…, I’m “older folks” too…
Second cup just now filled and I just saw my girl off.
Warmer out today, I noticed standing out on the step waving to Gen as she backed out and left. Storms forecasted for Tennessee, Kentucky and Southern Illinois where she is headed.
Our new to us Winnabego has only 23,000 miles on it, looks like it has never been used. Folks said they really never camped in it just drove between places. Has a “new to it” front awning last year, tires look brand new without any weathering noted. Old fella owned an automotive mechanical/ tire shop. Was pleasantly surprised seeing his clean and neat place of business and the vehicles that the shop was tending to…., made me feel so much better about our purchase knowing it had been used lightly and taken care of well.
I’m not naive…, expecting no issues, but am hopeful that those issues will be minor in the beginning. A little was knocked off the price because he readily informed me that it would need battery replacements for the house and the motor. Looked at deep cycle battery prices yesterday and see it’s going to get in the wallet a bit for some good ones. It is…, what it is.
Well it’s time to walk the dogs around their two block patrol and load up to go tend to the mornings business. This evening will be spent behind the computer with my mind in the best of places as this Sundays coming lesson is prepared.
Till my next words to you all…, God bless and keep you all safe.
