Micro 2106FBS Outside TV

Posted 09-16-2020 at 10:12 AM by PIC

Can't seem to figure out how to get CATV to the starboard exterior coaxial port and then on to that TV. I have fulled with it for hours. No info in my Banker's Box full of documents. It can't be that hard???
There are 2 coaxial ports above inside TV. I have switch coax cable back and forth. Set the inside up on HDMI and outside up on the "to TV" coax port o. The small box provided by the RV park. Outside TV does a channel scan. Says I got 41 channels but all I get is perpendicular...

RV Quality or Even a Facsimile Thereof

Posted 09-14-2020 at 10:28 AM by 1GRN1

Is it any wonder that, to my knowledge, J.D. Power has not granted awards to Winnebago (WGO), WGO suppliers, or WGO dealers or dealers' service organizations? I'm not aware that RV manufacturers or suppliers are required by the RVIA to comply with quality management systems, and especially such as those prescribed by IATF 16949 which is widely used in the automobile and HD Truck industry.

Hey WGO Chief Design Engineer - have you even heard of a function diagram, DFMEA, Taguchi Diagram,...

Forza Design Failure #3: Convection/Microwave Exhaust Vent

Posted 09-14-2020 at 10:16 AM by 1GRN1

Our 2017 Forza 38W is equipped with a convection/microwave w/range hood and exhaust vent. Unfortunately that exhaust vent exhausts hot air from the convection oven INSIDE the coach. In summer it's then impossible for our air conditioner to maintain a comfortable temperature. This makes the convection oven largely unusable. A costly modification which requires the convection/ microwave to be removed and exhaust fans reoriented to blow out instead of in, a rectangular hole to be cut into the wall,...

Forza Design Failure #2: Windshield Shade

Posted 09-14-2020 at 09:38 AM by 1GRN1

Our 2017 Forza 38W is obviously an attempt by Winnebago to produce a reduced-cost Class A diesel pusher. Lots of consumer comfort items are missing. One such item is a windshield daytime window shade. Sometimes we're inside and the front of the coach faces west and you get the afternoon sun. It's often highly desirable to see out your huge picture window, but at the sacrifice of privacy and increased electric power consumption for air conditioning. A motorized windshield shade with both day and...

Forza Design Failure #1: Bathroom Privacy

Posted 09-14-2020 at 09:20 AM by 1GRN1

Does your Forza bathroom have an emergency escape window with an approx. 4" high screen at the bottom? Is that screen located approximately level with the crotch of an average height adult? If so, then how often was your window open and you unintentionally exposed yourself to or otherwise "mooned" your neighbor?

"What was the Winnebago coach designer thinking? (If he/she was thinking at all!)"
