Electric problem Itasca Sunstar 36Y

Posted 05-30-2019 at 11:27 AM by mitchoe

I’m hoping for some help, all of a sudden my electric shut off. Hooked to 30amp shore with a good surge protector, nothing appears wrong with it, it is getting good power from the pedestal. Plugged directly, still no power. No breakers popped. Turned on gennie, it works fine and power works, just not from shore. It’s like something shorted out, just not sure what. Inverter?

2001' Winnebago Journey cargo latch mechanism

Posted 05-21-2019 at 10:41 AM by STG

Hello Fellow Winni Owners,
This is my first post/blog, and I hope to find the help from the group of info savy do-it-yourself fellow owners. We're trying to find info on where to buy, and how to replace the outside cargo bin latch assembly. As you know, all of the cargo doors are keyed latch type doors, and as our RV has aged, we're finding that the latches are getting very loose, and in one case has broken from the cargo door. Hoping to see if any of you can offer assistance in this area....

[QUOTE=kcscriv;3839485]Hey new owners here also, flew to NC to pick up in late Nov, going to SD soon, can you share the floor Matt's you got and how well they fit? I've added 3 vent covers max air, insect covers, windshield privacy covers which I have 4 to sell, added carpet to entry steps held with velcro, got front end aligned make lots of difference, went with ford full synthetic at 2700 miles, love it so far, also lined all drawers, cabnets, etc with rubber lining really quited things down....

House Battery Upgrade

Posted 05-11-2019 at 09:09 PM by roddenby51

Installed a pair of Duracell 6v GC2 AGM batteries, replacing the NAPA 12v Group 24 pair. Utilized stock wires, need longer hold-down bolts.

Right rear turn signal not working

Posted 05-06-2019 at 11:47 PM by George Pool

I have a 2005 Suncruiser. The right turn signal keeps blowing the fuse. I have checked the bulb and replaced it. Replaced the fuse and it blinked about 3 times and fuse blew again. Installed a bigger fuse and turn signal blinked very dim and then the fuse blew. I am stumped where to start looking for the problem. The wiring looks good behind the tail light and running light works????confused:
