Wow, looks like they designed a little lake bed around that. Mine is mounted underneath the front fiberglass cap. No holes in the roof.

This can happen on most any RV with a slideout. Drop the jacks either front or rear to drain the water. On mine, once drained, I retract the jacks all the way, then put the slide in.
