Ours is 14 years old and going strong, no leaks. same unit as yours. The electric problem could just be a wiring problem. I wouldn't just give up on it.

Did they replace the check valves on the HW tank inlet and outlet? I have mine removed and no more problems. They degrade and either slow the flow or stop it all together.

The owners manual should tell you, most likely 87. Putting in a higher octane will not get you much except less money in your wallet.

No slides on it, and lots of details missing. What service does it have 30 or 50 amps? It mentioned new manifolds which means it probably does not have the banks system on it, probably under powered...

My old Kountry Star had 6 of then in the returns. They were a pain. It was a 93 and I have had to fix the duct connectors.
We traded for the Horizon, which has only one return, its under the bed...
