Looking forward to learning other's experiences with the Minnie's. We are in the process of buying the 2500RL Minnie, at least thinking we have it narrowed down to this model.
We are long time RV owners, from pop-up to Class A 36' coach. We sold our last coach a couple of years ago due to health issues, but have found we really miss taking our "home" with us whenever we travel. Of course our furry friends have always been instrumental in why we started RVing to begin with.
We are scaling down and do not plan to go across country, but really looking forward to getting back into the camping life.
There are some concerns with the service after the sale from Winnebago recently. I know the dealer can make or break the security of standing behind the product, but have read many complaints about the manufacturer not being supportive on defects or warranty work. Have to admit this makes us somewhat apprehensive about trusting the name Winnebago, as we have known it for many years. Anxious to hear from other Minnie owners

Are you still looking or did you buy? I downsized from a Country Coach 40' that we lived in for 8 years and toured the country. Purchased the Minnie 2500RL in Jan.

My truck handles poorly towing the UNLOADED 2500RL Winnebago trailer with 940 lbs. actual tongue weight. Way over the advertised 695. Feels like the trailer is pushing the backend of the truck around even with a load leveling, anti-sway hitch. No problem pulling it but a lot of problem controlling it. I've tried LT tires but that didn't help.

It appears that this model has just too much tongue weight for any F150. The RV dealer and Winnebago haven't been able to find a solution. Wondered if there are others that have experienced the same problem.

2018 Winnebago 2500RL, UNLOADED weight = 5380 lbs, tongue = 940 lbs.
F150 2016 Lariat SuperCrew 4x4, max tow capacity = 11,500, max tongue weight = 1150 lbs.
BlueOx weight distribution hitch with 1500 lbs. bars
