new 1780

We bought our new drop 1780 yesterday, after a long and trying day, we had a 4 hour drive home, arrived about midnight. parked it and went to bed. The next morning when I opened it up, I noticed the water pump was on. Any possible damage running 12 hours without water in the tank. Also, all though I could hear the pump, I can't find it. How do I winterize if I can't get to the pump siphon. I found the water heater bi pass valves, but no siphon hose?
