Greetings from Charlotte NC

Hello, Wendi and I are not only new to the forum but to RV'ing in general. We purchased our first motorhome about a month ago. It's a gently used 2016 Itasca Sunstar LX 27N. It's not really where we were when we started our search (started looking at 14 foot TT) but we are extremely happy where we landed. We have done 3 long weekends so far with no real issues. Our first big camp will be for almost a week down at Hilton Head over the 4th. A first for both distance and time. We are working on setting up our Jeep Wrangler as the toad, but won't have it in time for Hilton Head. Instead we will take our beach bikes along to explore all the local trails. We are looking forward to exploring wonderful destinations and meeting new friends.

As I am retired and Wendi is still "bringing home the bacon", I will be doing a lot of traveling on my own. I have been an amateur photographer for most of my 50+ years and plan to spend the majority of my time in our beautiful National Parks. Wendi will fly out and meet me on a regular basis. Like many others, we have started an Instagram page to document our travels. I'll share that once I figure out how to add it to our signature.

Welcome, Dave. Our NPs are beautiful but don’t discount the lesser visited National Forests’ scenery. Inyo NF is one example with the Eastern Sierras.

See you down the road.

Hello Dave and welcome. Congrats on your retirement and your new moho. I hope you and Wendi will have many happy miles in the Itasca. Thanks for signing up!
