Grimesy, that's on our list, sounds like fun... And there may be some who play pickleball too!

Arch, chuck, jackalope: Yes, I've heard all about the lack of time after retirement! Never really understood it but I guess we'll find out! DH has been retired for almost 4 years and he's busy all the time... Mostly trying to keep me happy ( he says!)

And arch, thanks for the comment about Guaranty, we're happy with them so far...and I saw very few negative reviews online.

Just came back from our local CW...kept it under $200 but still haven't made final decision on sewer hose ("to macerate or not") and satellite system... DISH tailgater? Wineguard G2? So many things to research!
Thanks for all your advice and comments, glad to know we have a ready-made support system out there!

Pickle Ball is a required sport for all retired people, isn't it?

parsoc...I'm not a fan a Macerators and the two people I know that had them disliked them.

Blueline Quick Connect Sewer Kit - Prest-O-Fit 1-0202 - Sewer Hoses - Camping World

I've used Blueline for about 15 years now and like it.

I agree with Arch about Macerators. They take forever to dump and you loose the "whoosh" factor that helps keep the Black tank from getting the nasties built up.
If you ever get caught behind someone with a Macerator at a dump station you will understand !

Chile rock: not actually required but highly recommended!

Arch: thanks for the link to blueline, we'll certainly look into it. This is one of those hot-button topics isn't it? Like gas vs diesel, ESC or none, GS vs Coachnet, etc! Makes for interesting reading for sure

Another one to consider might be RhinoFLEX. I've been using mine daily for 3 years and the only thing I've replaced is the elbow at the sewer. I guess after sitting in the Mississippi sun finally took it's toll and it started to dry out.

We brought our 2007 29R in Spring 2010 from the original owner. It was our first motorhome and now starting our 5th summer with it. Three days ago we replaced all the original tires not because of wear but because of age. The only other "costly" issue was the fuel pump. In essence we have been happy with our 29R and IF we ever decide to replace it a Winnebago product will be what we will purchase.
Congrats on your purchase ... hopefully, you will enjoy yours as much as we have.
