Price increases. When?

We are about to order a 2015 Adventurer 38Q. The dealer suggests that we should order now as prices will go up in 2015. Is this just salesman talk? If not, when does Winnebago raise their prices? Before or after the Tampa Supershow?

I can not tell you the date the prices will go up but I can tell you a story that illustrates it

Gas Prices were down in my neighborhood and the guy at the next pump ask me when they were going to go up again,,, I said "On the 21st" he ask how I knew that, And I replied "Because on the 22nd I'm going to bring the Motor home over and re-fill the 70 gallon tank".. He laughed.

Turns out I was wrong, went up on the 20th.

Think about this,,, They prices will go up.. Right when you get in your car to go to the dealer to sign the contract on your new dream home on wheels.

After all. MURPHY RULES!

Salesperson scare tactic, insight from a former car salesman (me). When I saw how dishonest and deceitful salespeople are, I just could not morally continue in the business. no matter how hard I tried to be honest, the sales manager always shot me down.

The demand, right around now through about mid January is low. I don't know when the show is but better to buy before the show. Now: demand low, After show: demand higher.

Winnebago already increased prices about 2% when they posted "Sneak Peak" electronic brochures. IIRC, that was in early fall. I don't know if they increase prices more than once per year.

MSRP Price Increases

I know that when the 2015 Vista on a 2014 Ford chassis started being available late summer, the MSRP price increase was about 1% higher than a 2014 Vista on a 2014 Ford chassis. There was another MSRP price increase late Sept/early October of about 2.3% when the 2015 Vista changed over to the 2015 Ford chassis. I lucked out when I ordered a 2015 Vista as I negotiated with the dealer based on a 2014 Ford chassis price, but the coach arrived with a 2015 Ford chassis. The MSRP price sheet reflected the new base price increase.
