Although I am not a Winnie owner I am looking for a shop capable of doing a full body paint. Is there a paint shop that the factory uses?
Thanks

We are going to the factory to have our paint redone on one side.

It is my understanding that Winnie "factory" full body paint jobs are done by:

CDI, LLC
305 Nerem Dr.
Forest City, IA 50436

Here is one that does great looking full body paint jobs on new and used coaches.

Mike's Custom Painting, Inc. in Bremen, IN.
Ph. 574-546-2161

I sat on a seminar that Mike presented in June while at a rally in Goshen, IN. He showed some full body paint jobs that his company had done.

Mike's also has the shop at Gulf Stream that he does all the painting on GS coaches.

Our coach full body paint was done by them, great job.

I thought about it on my 02 Horizon 39QD. The lowest quote I got was around $12,000 from 6 different places. With diesel fuel around 3 bucks a gallon (if it stays there for a while) that's 4000 gallons of fuel. I get about 8 mpg towing my Liberty, that comes out to approx. 32,000 miles worth of trips, if my math is right.
My coach started to look real pretty just the way it was.

Thank you for al the replies. 3huskies: I have seen posts where people talk about shops in the Southwest who can do a good job for about $8000. Some of them were shops that were recommended by the mfr. But I cannot find those posts.

Their VERY large paint shop is maybe 1/4 mile away from the Winnie campus. They might have all of their production contracted for by Winnie, or they might do one-off jobs - I don't know.

3huskies,

Contact Mike's Custom Painting, the full body repaints that he showed us at the seminar were around $10k.
