During our A/C debacle, before the coach came home from the shop. We decided to clean up the pad for it,,,,,,,,,
where upon, I found a piece of HOSE approx 4''long ..1/2'' in diam, along with a hard plastic fitting, with a bulge around its end , like they were togther at one time, CHEWED.!
Thats right,,, chewed....
.I spent some time crawling around the engine compartment, and underneath trying to find the other end.. or a nest,,, or a carcass.... nothing!
Im prtetty sure its some kind of vacumn hose ,but from where...........?
does anyone know where I could find the hose types , since we could make out some printing on it:
16" GM62??am type c2 kv1{?}.under it unknown lettering then 1993
Does Workhorse have a phone number for parts , tech.... anything
hate like **** to have problems on the road.....

slightly bewildered by this/ coach seems to be running fine.and of course leaving in the AM for NH

Thanks-

Is the condensate drain for the engine A/C still in place? That description sounds similar to the A/C drain on mine.

Yup... I saw that hanging down,, almost the same diameter.......no markings on it tho .. intact ..
......no teeth marks!!!
will take another look around before we leave.....then my ill have my nephew and his buddies " Backyard Mechanics"... on the task when we get up to NH
still looks like some kind of vacumn hose and fitting.... what other devices work off of , or need engine pressure..?

Wally, how about a picture? Also, exactly where was it found on the pavement... right below the engine if the coach had been there? Passenger side? Driver side? Possibly a fresh water tank drain hose stub?
Another good clue is "chewed"... are the marks regular like a mechanical rotor hitting the tube, or are they irregular like a rat gnawing on it?
