No Adventurer??

Was looking at the WGO website and under Gas Class A category there is no Adventurer. Has WGO discontinued what was their flagship gas class A coach for years?

It appears so.

Just finished our second season with the coach in our signature. Wondering what this might do for resale/trade-in values.

Nothing.

But alas, the Adventurer was W's biggest selling model - you can't go through an RV park anywhere in the country and not find a least a few of them.

From what I gather, the guys from Fleetwood are running 'baggie now and running it the same way they ran fleetpoop. Oh well.

No new winnie's in my future.

Hello everyone. NEW member here with my first ever RV. Found a very clean low mileage 1994 Winnebago Adventurer 34RA in excellent condition. New tires, brakes, roof, refrigerator, 27 ft awning, LCD TVs, floor & a new satellite TV antenna & back up camera. Got the 454 Chevy engine with the Banks system installed with 60,000 miles. New striping, new 6 Volt golf cart batteries for the coach with a new 850 cranking amp engine battery for a very good price. The engine runs GREAT. Also have the cushion ride shocks. Extremely clean inside & out & everything works great. Looking forward to hitting the highway very soon.

Very nice looking coach for a 1994. Good luck with it.

Thank you. Its in the shop to make sure the"auto park" system is working correctly & having the oil & filter changed & a few other maintenance procedures taken care. Once that is done we plan on taking a trip. Looking forward to getting it on the road.

I believe looking at the 2018 line up they are trying to hit price points
With cheaper built rigs

Hate to see the Adventurer get dropped. Amazing that a company would drop one of it's most popular sellers.
I bought a 2000 Adventurer -- great coach -- no problems - traded in 2011 for my current coach 2009 Vectra.

Bought a 2003 adventurer 2 years ago. Put 18000 miles on it (had 30000 when we bought it) that's one great coach. Put new fridge in it but otherwise just a wonderful ride!

I just realized they dumped the Itasca name as well.

Seems like the current Sightseer is the old Adventurer. It's their high-line gas unit now. Back in my vintage the Sightseer was a couple of models down - we had Adventurer/Suncruiser, then Voyage/Sunrise, then on down the line.

When I look at new ones it's easy to see where they cut corners to hit a price point. Eyes, wool, pulling over.

It looks like the just slid the names around to freshen things up like they did with Vectra, Tour and Journey a few years back. The Sightseer/Sunova appear to have been upgraded to be the more luxurious upscale gas coaches this year.

Personally I would have left well enough alone or come out with a new name however a new name implies bleeding edge new model problems and screams "DON"T BUY ME!" to many folks.
