Need a ladder!

Just took delivery of a new (2015) 23B model to find that there is no ladder to get into the power loft bed. I'm 72 years old, so anything that will help would be appreciated.

Congrats on the new rv and Welcome to the forum !

there's a couple of favorites that most get:

One folds length wise and one folds top to bottom:
http://www.amazon.com/GP-Logistics-S...apsible+ladder

Get one at least 14' tall for the roof

Ah, on edit, don't know what a 23B is, so guessing but, did you mean an inside ladder ???
never mind then - go back to the manufacturer.

Hi & welcome to the forum!

Was it supposed to come with one & is it brand new, never titled, & did you buy from a dealer? If so, I'd be asking your dealer to get it for you.

Ok, a couple of items here.
1. Your first sentence, "Just took delivery on a NEW 2015...) indicates YOU are the first owner, correct?
2. I would assume then that, the dealership should have supplied you with a ladder, due to the fact that it would be required, to gain access to that high of a bed.

I don't know what a 23B is either however I do know there are a number of manufacturers that are no longer installing exterior ladders.

Here's a 2016 Entegra Anthem for example:

The OP is asking for a ladder to get to an interior loft bed.

mott137, look under the bed in the back. I have heard of them being stored there.

FWIW, our 2006 WGO View 24J had the ladder stored on the bed. IOW, one had to first get up there to find the ladder.

For folks not familiar with a 23B, please be advised that "23B" is one of the floor plan number's for the new Winnebago Trend or Viva series RV's. On sale since 2014 they are two of Winnebagos 24 foot compact class B+ or class C ( you take your choice) units. For example, my Winnebago Trend is a 2014 model with a 23L floor plan. These units have a motor driven loft bed stored in the overhead. At night when lowered the unit has a compact ladder normally stored under / inside the rear basement storage area. which is used to acess the lowered loft bed.
MOTT 137 As advised your best bet if you can't find that ladder is to return to the dealer you purchased your unit from and get or file a claim for it. That ladder is standared equipment that comes with your RV. It should be there. One more thing, without knocking the IRV2 folks, you really need to sign up for the
Viva / Trend group over at Yahoo Groups.com This is a group of Winnebago TREND and VIVA owners dedicated to the care/ maintenance/ enjoyment of these units. With over two hundred members, they have all sorts of information on "care and feeding" of these units, updates with photos and lots of stuff that's good to know if you operate one of these units. [moderator edit]
Hope this helps.

Do these rigs come with a regular bed in the back as well .
At 72, you sure you want to be crawling up and down into a 'loft' bed?

Our Forza didn't have one either and I like to look better without a ladder. I bought one of these and it works fine.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ilpage_o07_s00

That rings a bell. IIRC, there were clips to store the ladder against a wall in one of the storage bins of our 2006 WGO View 24J. It never made sense to store the ladder in a bin only accessible from the outside so we threw it on top of the upper bunk bed and left it there. Besides, we never used the cab over bed, anyway.

The View was a great rig but got too small when we decided to travel for 3-5 months at a time with a cat. A few people have full timed in a View but my wife and I didn't know any good divorce lawyers to try that!

My 23L had the ladder for the drop down bed under the corner bed the the rear. The ladder should have been in the closet with all of the other loose assessors shipped with the coach. Many dealers take these out so that they don't get lost. They may have forgotten to give them to you. Did you get all of the items in the tray in the kitchen sink?

Same here.. my ladder is attached to the main bed with clips. I, originally, thought I was missing the ladder.
