I would hold off on having the dealer do much with the mechanical. It would be good for you to get a "baseline feeling" of the power and handling before making additions and modifications. I currently have two V10 motor homes and had another previously. I have a 1999 Brave 35W and a 2003 Adventurer 38G. My first two including the Brave had the 275 HP V10 and the 2003 Adventurer has the 310 HP. I never had the need for more power towing with the 275 HP in the western or eastern mountains pulling long grades. It would drop down to 40 mph, but I was always satisfied with it. We bought the 2003 Adventurer while we were in Arizona. It was in Houston and we drove there to pick it up. I ordered a Five Star Tune for it and had it shipped to my sister in Tennessee. It ran so well in the mountains I didn't install the Five Star Tune. 4 years later and I still haven't installed it after some 30,000 miles. Might get around to it soon. I find that the stock handling isn't bad either.

Congrats on the buy. I have the exact same coach, and I have to say I love it. I have done a couple of things to it such as the CHF, and recently a 5 star tune. Haven't had a chance to check out the tune yet, but I think it will be well worthwhile. Mine now has 42000 miles on it. Had to replace the tires as they were the originals when I bought it three years ago. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we have enjoyed ours. Best of Luck.
