Looking for a used captains chair or recliner.

Our Journey had a nice white leather couch with a storage drawer underneath, but it was not comfortable to sit it and watch TV at a 90 degree angle, so we decided to refloor the coach with a hardwood floor and eliminate the couch. Yup, all the old carpet is gone. Good ridence. Now I am looking for a nice used recliner or captains seat to replace the couch. Alas, I can't seem to find anything that meets my needs.

1. It does need to be in good condition.
2. It must swivel.
3. Prefer a wallaway.
4. Light colored.

I have seat belts that are already in place that will work with it. I have been searching the web with little luck and would welcome suggestions. If I could find a Flexsteel captains chair in white leather with a foot rest that would be great.

I may have to go new, but it's an old coach and I hate to spend a lot although the floor did cost quite a bit already.

We were just in a store called America's Fine Furniture. I was amazed at the recliners and the prices. Extremely reasonable. By reasonable I guess it depends on your individual pocket book but there were all less than $500 and many around $200. A far cry from yesteryear.

Go shopping and you may find what you want in a color you want and at a very good price.

We bought two leather, electric residential recliners that work great. Just be careful with your measurements while shopping.

Looking at European Loungers

We too have that issue. The couple who bought it (we are 2nd owners) replaced couch with office-type upright chairs that swivel and go back a bit, but ironically the arms are so wide that we have to swivel "together" or we hit each other! lol

We found the "Eurpoean" style loungers and found that the smaller base allows us to put them in our rig, and they swivel and recline. We found that most recliners would not go all the way back due to the width of the slide anyway. That's what we are getting when we redo our floors in the spring.

We did the same thing! We had the slide floor extended about 8" to give me a bigger space for a recliner. I had to have a walk hugger, they don't rock or swivel! If you can deal, look at Euro recliners. They have a smaller footprint.
I had to have a regular recliner because I have a couple small dogs that need to share my chair. I found an electric recliner that when measured from the front of the base to the end of the extended back fit my space. I went to a LARGE furniture store and found it.

This Euro recliner/swivel is less expensive then the one shown earlier. Seems to be less fluff though, so that's probably the difference. Could just be the Euro styling that fooled me into thinking they're European.

Yes I did. They didn't have anything I wanted at the present time.

I might end up with the Eurocliner in the end. Still pondering.

Just found the Euro recliner on PPL for less than three hundred dollars and ordered it. Thanks for the inputs.

Not a sleeper, 65" long 33" deep, 35" high. There is a storage drawer underneath shown standing on its end.

I have tried to send pics twice and the software won't allow it. If you want send me a PM with your email address and I will send them that way.

For me PPL is much better than Camping World. They have much better prices.
