Is there a secret hand-shake to figure out...

Is there a secret hand-shake to figure out what manufacturer makes the center-mount / third brake light for my motorhome? Since Winnebago / Itasca doesn't make the brake lights and they're from an automotive manufacturer, does anyone know how to figure out what manufacturer, model and model-year mine are from? I've tried Google but not getting much information. 2005 Winnebago Sightseer / Itasca Sunova.

The part number is 136916-01-000

Thank you. -RT

Is that the actual part number off of the light itself or is that Winnebago's part number? If you pull the light off and get the number off of the lens itself you should be able to do an internet search and maybe get lucky.

The number you quote in your OP looks like a Winnebago # and not a manufacturer number. Suggest you remove light and get the number off the back of it then Google the number. Worked for me. Good luck

I called Winne support about my front turn signal lamps and they told me what auto they were originally made for. I then contacted an outfit in WA state and they sold me two. By the way, Winne wanted $35 each and I bought them for less than $6 each.

Hi RT
http://www.glo-brite.com
I replaced all of my 2013 Tour and my brothers 2006 Suncruiser exterior lighting with there products in led. They sell to Winnebago. Glo-rite is stamped into the original lenses.

The lens is pretty faded, but what I think I read the numbers as:

53 E 02 1634
SAE U399 DOT

I know that the headlights are from a 2003 model year Chevrolet Suburban, as I've already replaced them due to yellowing. But I happen to have a 2003 Suburban so I know first-hand that the center-mount / third brake light is not a match. -RT

Remove the light and take it to a Napa or Autozone parts store. They should be able to get it for you.

Not having an image to go by, try an 02-08 dodge ram.

Jesse,
Did you replace the bulbs in the tail lights or just the side lights? Which bulbs did you use?

Hi dengraham
I didn't change the bulbs. I replaced the complete assembly. Glo-Rite manufactures them in LED. I replaced the five front upper marker lights, the 5 rear upper marker lights, the two mid side running lights. I didn't change the tail or brake lights. If I do I won't change bulbs I will change out the complete assembly. FYI, I had to become a distributor to buy from them. It was worth it. If I can help let me know.

I didn't take very good photos but maybe someone will recognize this center-mount brake light... -RT

Using eBay as a reference, looks like my brake light is a lot thinner is style than the Dodge, but thank you for the suggestion. -RT
