Inexpensive 15" 90lb. gas springs

Have been looking for the 15" 90lb. gas springs for my compartment doors. Has anyone found an outlet for reasonably priced ones. I have checked CW, AutoZone,Columbia strut and they all want around $25 ea.

Look at McMaster Carr. They have all kinds of things. I got my 120# gas springs from them. They are an industrial supplier and also sell to the consumer. I use them all the time for work needs too.

One of the IRV2 sponsors, RVupgrades.com has them. Great pricing, fast shipping.

Give these people a shot at supplying them Truck Accessories & Truck Parts | Ford, Chevy, Dodge, GMC | Stylin' Trucks. I couldn't get the ones I needed for my truck toolbox here in Canada. These guys not only had what I needed but had them to me ASAP - I'm one very happy camper.

There is an ebay seller that lists a "buy it now" price around $12 ea. That company is located in Illinois.

Didn't see 15" 90# on RV upgrades so I sent an e-mail. Will probably get a response tomorrow. All their other size gas springs seem to have a good price though.

Rv Upgrades didn't have the 90lb, but Ray,IN was correct in checking ebay. Company called Strut Your Stuff. They had a pair for $23.99 + $10.99 shipping. Best price I could find.

OEM gas shocks on my 2002 32V came from:

SPD » GSNI Black Nitride Shaft Gas Spring » Gas Springs and Dampers

Took number off old shock and found it in this chart. Less than $20 each. I did have a superceded number on one, so you can call them to get an accurate cross reference.
