Like I've said before many times... the engineers who design them don't ever use them and certainly don't ever THINK about the practicality and usability they're taking away when they make changes.

We would be much more likely to write a check if there were pricing transparency, e.g. - as there is in a Ford (or any other auto) purchase where I can see invoice pricing.

I received a complete invoice with all of the prices including the price for the options, delivery, and dealer charges. The invoice was very similar to the invoice that I received on my new Ford. This maybe because the Winnebago dealership is owned by the local Ford dealership.
If that is not posted in the RV you can ask for it. My dealer post the suggested pricing in the window of all his new coaches on the lot. He will make you a copy.

The government requires the dealer to furnish you with the window sticker with all factory options and the list price of each.

I thought that was the case. So I am not sure what price transparency the above is asking for. For a new coach or one that is 5 or 6 years old it is not too hard to figure what you should be paying for it. Most people that I know don't pay sticker.

If they made their employees take all their vacation time in units they built on the assembly line or designed. Or at least every two to three years live in one at the plant for part of the year
